1 000,00

We offer this unobtainable Zeno Watch Basel, Record model in the very limited edition of 300 pieces worldwide.

Brief history of the brand:

The company was founded in 1868 by the watchmaker Jules Godat in La Chaux-de-Fonds. In 1920 the factory was purchased by the Eigeldinger family of Basel, who oriented the production towards military watches in steel, silver, gold and platinum. In 1922 the company acquired the name of Zeno in honor of the Greek philosopher Zeno.
Today Zeno Watch Basel is one of the last independent brands in Switzerland, producing mechanical and quartz watches with analog displays. The watches are also issued to divers in the Swiss Army.
The ZENO-WATCH BASEL obtained 300 Record movements (Acquired by Longines) and immediately had the idea of using them in a large wristwatch. The stainless steel case combines the design of both a pocket watch and a classic 1940s wristwatch.
To make the watch as authentic as possible, the original enamel dial has been incorporated, thus giving the Record watch the real finishing touch.
The polish is tinted with metallic pigment and has a trademark shimmer. The original mechanism of the Record pocket watch, produced around 1940, was reassembled and adjusted by hand in the ZENO laboratory.
The watch features a 49mm stainless steel case with a large onion crown and an original enamel Record dial with railway-track-style minute divisions. The watch houses a hand-wound mechanical movement from the vintage Record 1460 caliber.
