Swiss manufacture
Numa-Emile Descombes and Ulysse Georges Perret co-founded Le Locle in 1894. The company specialized in wristwatches early on. Almost all movements used came from our own development and production.
Original, rare “Disco Volante” chronograph in solid 18K gold.
Manufactured in the 1950’s
Original silver colored dial. Arabic numerals in gold color. Gold colored spear hands. Three sub-dials. Small seconds at nine – 30 minute counter at three and 12 hour dial at six, Marked UNIVERSAL GENEVE at twelve. COMPAX above the 12-hour counter. Outer scale blue. Under the Six SWISS. Very nice condition.
Movement own caliber 281 (stamped) – inscribed UNIVERSAL WATCH Co. SWISS seventeen jewels unadjusted. Finest construction.

In the pressed back cover outside 722556 second number 12… (rubbed) Swiss. Inside 18K 0.750 woman’s head hallmark, company hallmark Universal Geneve 166 in the shield.
Watch 34mm without crown – with crown 36mm. Weight 36.3g
Light brown noble leather strap. Width 17mm. Total length with clock 22.5 cm. The leather strap is not shipped to countries outside the EU.
