The company was founded in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin in Le Locle, Switzerland. Along with Louis JeanRichard-dit-Bressel and Henri Grandjean, Ulysse Nardin is considered the founder of the Swiss marine chronometer industry and manufacturer of first-class wristwatches.

Refreshed silver colored dial. Small seconds at nine. Arabic numerals in gold color. 30 minute counter on the three. Gold-colored spear hands and chronograph hands. Inner scale black. Outer scale blue. Marked ULYSSE NARDIN LOCLE SUISSE and under the 6 Swiss Made.

Original movement caliber Valjoux 22 inscribed ULYSSE NARDIN SWISS. 17 jewels. Chatons and gold wheels. Very nice original condition of the movement.

Watch size: 38mm without crown. With crown 41mm – oversize – weight 59.5g

The watch is in very nice condition and has had little or no wear.

Fine black leather strap with quilting – 19mm. Length with watch 24cm. The leather strap is not shipped to countries outside the EU.
