Record – Valjoux 23 “18k Step Case” – Men – 1901-1949

Record Chronograph Valjoux 23 in 18 karat yellow gold. A case in very good condition with stepped bezel and back cover. The back cover also has a very nice hinge. The dial shows signs of age. The dial, case and movement all bear the “Record” signature. The watch is completely original.

The cabinet was made by cabinetmaker “Charles Kohli” (Poinçon de Maître No.1 (147)), known for his beautiful stepped cabinets and hinged back covers.

The design of the dial is very similar to Longines 13zn chronographs of that time. The design is more often seen in steel Record chronographs, but very rare if not ever in an 18 kt gold case.

The watch was serviced in 2019 and functions well. Will be well packaged and shipped insured.

Case is 34 mm without crown. Including vintage leather strap from buckle to bottom, 22 cm
