In 1923, Hans Gilomen founded this family business in Lengnau BE. The son Hans-Jörg joins the company in 1943 after successfully completing his watchmaking apprenticeship.

Year of manufacture of the watch around 1950

Original dial. Not refinished. Signed Onsa at 12 and date. Wedge numbers with Arabic 12/2/4/6/8/10 numbers. lock pointer. Two sub-dials. Small seconds at nine. Chrono counter at three. Above the Six Phases of the Moon. Day name and month name under the twelve. Gold-colored hand for the date from the center – red arrow on blue outer scale. Large gold colored stop hand.

Movement cal. Landeron 186 in original condition. A caliber that makes the heart of collectors beat faster. A work of masterful quality.

Hallmarked 18 kt 0.750 132 on the inside of the pressed back cover, the woman’s head hallmark and 500000 on the shield.

The watch is in very nice original condition.

Watch size – oversize: 38mm without crown, with 40mm – weight 46.6g

Leather strap light brown – strap width 19 to 13 mm – length with watch 23.5 cm. The leather strap will not be shipped to countries outside the EU.
