Vintage French diving watch, Mortima Superdatomatic Commander on Board

Without a doubt, the “Comandante de a Bordo” is the crowning star of the Mortima Super Datomatic divers of the 70s. For that reason it is very difficult to get a copy of this model and even less in the excellent condition of conservation in which it is found. It has a manual winding caliber of 17 jewels. Submersible, up to 6 atmospheres of pressure (not currently tested), chrome-plated case with steel threaded bottom. XXL diameter, 44 mm. Not counting the crown. Double external steel bezel: one of them fixed, with a tachymeter function, and another functional in both directions, to know the world time. In addition, it has a third inner bezel that moves with the upper crown, for diving. Black dial with luminous indices and hands. Good performance. Precious steel bracelet, completely new Milanese mesh, 18 mm. Presentation in a completely new luxurious travel case, made of genuine cowhide, in keeping with the importance of this watch.
