Invicta was founded in 1837 by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland under the name R. Picard. The Picard family owned the trademark rights until 1970. Operations ceased in the 1970s due to the quartz crisis

Rare 14K gold collector’s watch from Invicta. Original dial. Very nice condition.

Year of manufacture of the watch around 1940

Black original dial. Stick numbers with Arabic 12+6. Two sub-dials. Small seconds at nine. 30 minute counter on the three. Gold-colored spear hands and gold-colored chronograph hand. Internal golden minute track with internal Arabic numerals for 5s. Outside chronograph scale.

Movement caliber Valjoux 22. The movement is in very nice original condition – marked INVIVCTA INCASTAR 21 RUBIS

14K 0.585 132 squirrel hallmark 746699 on the inside of the shield. Decorative pattern inside.

Watch size: 35.5mm without crown with crown 37mm. Weight 32.5g.
