Invicta was founded in 1837 by Raphael Picard in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland under the name R. Picard. The Picard family owned the trademark rights until 1970. Operations ceased in the 1970s due to the quartz crisis

Rare 18K gold collector’s watch from Invicta. Original dial. Very nice condition.

Year of manufacture of the watch around 1950

Gilded original dial. Wedge numbers with Arabic 12+6. Two sub-dials. Small seconds at nine. 45 minute counter on the three. Gold-colored spear hands and gold-colored chronograph hand. Internal black minute markers. Outside chronograph scale.

Movement caliber Valjoux 22 (stamped under the balance). Very nice original condition of the movement – marked INVIVCTA INCASTAR 21 RUBIS – 60 (Invicta caliber number)

INVICTA woman’s head hallmark 18K 0.750 141 on the shield 23363 on the outside of the pressed back cover. Decorative pattern on the inside.

Watch size oversize: 37mm without crown with crown 39mm. Weight 45.6 g.

The watch is in very nice condition. Fine caliber Valjoux 22

Noble leather strap brown – 20mm. Length with watch 22cm. The leather strap is not included in countries outside the EU.
