A nice new quartz watch with a memorable shield-shaped case. The original Ventura, launched in 1957, made watchmaking history as the world’s first battery-powered electric watch. With its bold and distinctive design, it quickly became an icon and collector’s item. The latest incarnation of the Ventura is a faithful homage to the original and reflects the pioneering shield-shaped celebration of mid-century modern design in a sports chronograph model. The watch has no marks on the case, glass and strap. Purchased in 2014. Replaced battery. Original box set with original manual/warranty booklet. Condition – excellent!
