Heuer – Swiss watchmaking
The watchmaker Heuer was founded in the year 1860 by Edouard Heuer in Saint-Imier. The company relocated to Biel in 1867. The mass production of chronographs began in 1882 and Heuer received the first patent for a stopwatch mechanism. – The complete history of the company is on Watch Wiki.
Rare Heuer collector’s watch made of steel. Original Valjoux 22 movement. Oversized – military watch
Excellent condition. Restored dial with a special design.
The watch was manufactured around 1940.
Beautiful restored dial – grey. Signed HEUER underneath 12 o’clock. Two subdials. Baton indices with luminous dots. Small second hand at nine o’clock. Chronograph at three o’clock. Hands with luminous material.
Movement cal. Valjoux 22 (embossed underneath the balance) – the movement is in original condition – silver-coloured with gold wheels – on the movement: company logo ED.HEUER & CO SA SWISS STAINLESS STEEL B2752
