The history of the Guinand company goes back to 1865, when the brothers Julien-Alcide and Charles Leon Guinand founded the Guinand Freres company in Les Brenets.

Solid rattrapante (split-seconds chronograph) in 14kt gold case. (several punches)

White enamel dial in unmarked condition. Time dial with Arabic numerals and external minute scale with fifth division and Arabic 5-digit numerals in red.
Time arrow hands and chronograph baton hands – all blued. Signed under the twelve C.L. Guinand Locle Switzerland, small second on the six.

Stopper release with crown pusher – rattrapante pusher on eleven.
