Alpina is a Swiss watch brand. It was founded in 1883 as Alpina Union Horlogerie S.A. (German name: Schweizerische Uhrmacher-Genossenschaft (SUG)) founded by Gottlieb Hauser in Biel/Bienne BE. It was a cooperative of dealers and manufacturers who procured and wholesaled high-quality wristwatches and pocket watches.

Single-pusher (monopusher) chronograph – triggered by crown pusher.

Original gold colored dial with Arabic numerals. Signature Alpina (black) – two auxiliary dials – small seconds on the nine – 30-minute counter on the three. Beautiful blued spear hands. Beautiful original condition.

Silver colored movement also in original condition – signed Alpina 17 jewels – chatons – gold wheels – beautiful ruby bearing stone – very fine movement – Geneva Sport caliber.
