Gino Boccasile – Zapparoli e Bagattini: het beste Panettone-gebak van Milaan – Années 1950 – Enchères

70,00

Conditie A: Integraal gaaf, frisse kleuren. Professioneel op linnen drager geplaatst (‘linen backed’)
Verzending: opgerold in stevige koker met track & trace.

‘Gino Boccasile (1901-1952) Born in Bari Italy in 1901. He moved to Milan in 1925 at the age of 24 and worked at the Mauzan-Morzenti Agency as a student of the famous poster artist Achille Mauzan.
Under the Mussolini-regime, Boccasile went to work for the fascists creating some of the most startling images of propaganda posters. After the war, Boccasile set up his own agency where he was quite prolific. Both he and his students were very sought after ie: Musati, Ferramante, Busi, Mosca, doing works for anything from Night Club acts, to travel and products ie: Lama Bolzano, Talco Paglieri, Castroreale Bagni, Yomo, Lauro Olivo, Olio Radino and too many more to mention. It is said that the woman’s face in many of Boccasile’s vintage posters are that of his wife.

Since 1919, Panettone cakes have been a favorite Italian tradition during the holidays. A wonderful treat which is perfect as a gift or sharing with friends and family. This brand of Panettone was made by the Zapparolli bakery of Milan: note the famed Duomo cathedral in the background’. (Bron: The vintageposter.com) Attention Fin des enchères : 2026-06-18 20:25:20
