In December 2024, the prestigious ART SHOPPING fair welcomed artists and collectives from around the world to the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. Among the most notable participants, an artist collective captivated attention with an exhibition that combined technological innovation and artistic expression, exploring the complex relationship between humanity and technological advances.

The exhibition’s central theme, “Technology and Humanity,” revealed bold and immersive works that question the impact of modern innovations on our emotions and interactions. By combining interactive digital installations, experimental visual art, and contemporary reinterpretations of traditional techniques, the exhibition offered a profound reflection on the complexities of today’s society.

One of the centerpieces of this exhibition was created by Siyuan Ma and Andi Zhou, two influential figures in the technology industry: Siyuan Ma, Senior UX Designer at Amazon Alexa, uses her expertise to explore the societal impacts of artificial intelligence and technology, integrating human values into her designs. Andi Zhou, a senior UX researcher at Amazon, focuses on design strategies that foster well-being and empathetic interactions. Their collaboration fuses digital and physical elements to explore the blurred lines between human emotion and technology. Other featured artists include: Yilin Bai: A London-based illustrator whose colorful, detailed works explore consumerism, identity, and multiculturalism.

Mingyue Qu: An artist and designer specializing in interactive and sustainable installations that combine technology with user-centered design.

Yang Li: An award-winning photographer known for capturing social realities with poignant sensitivity.

Jingwei Zeng: Experimental artist, merging data visualization and installations to intersect art and science.

Shuyi Liu: UX Designer at Bayada Home Health, winner of the Gold London Design Award and the Silver MUSE Creative Award. She combines empathy and functionality in her projects, bridging the gap between art and technology.

Yachu Feng: A graduate of Tsinghua University and the IIT Institute of Design, her innovative designs have earned her multiple accolades, including the Gold London Design Award and the Silver New York Product Award.

The exhibition went beyond the simple framework of artistic presentation, offering a global platform for reflection on the interactions between art, technology and society. By arousing the interest of the media and collectors, it injected new energy into the ART SHOPPING 2024 show.

This participation confirmed that art, when it goes beyond traditional boundaries, can inspire profound reflections on the future of humanity in a constantly changing world.
