This Cartier “Tank Francaise” reference 2384 in an elegant waterproof lady’s watch, with steel case and bracelet. The rectangular-shaped steel case is water resistant with case back secured with 4 screws, and original steel crown with sapphire cabochon.

Cartier introduced the Tank in 1917. The design of the Tank was inspired by the Renault FT-17 tanks. The differences in Tank styles have to do with overall case shape, and the way the lugs are shaped.
