Original poster created by Richard Zielenkiewicz, known under the pseudonym Monsieur Z, in partnership with the city of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals on the French Riviera to promote tourism in Cannes and the International Film Festival.

This artwork represents “The Stars Leaving the Carlton.” The artist wanted to immerse the viewer in the experience of a star stepping out of the famous Carlton Palace on La Croisette.

Rare, this poster was only available at the Palais des Festivals.

Monsieur Z is one of the most sought-after artists in the world, primarily known for his colorful, minimalist illustrations, inspired by mid-20th-century design and architecture. He is also the creator of the animated TV series Ratz and Jet Groove, broadcast on Gulli, France Télévisions, and the BBC.
